What paddle sizes fit this hanger?
Our leather paddle hanger fits kayak paddles, canoe paddles, SUP (stand-up paddleboard) paddles and rowing oars. Available in Small, Medium and Large to accommodate different shaft diameters. Most standard kayak paddles fit the Medium size.
Can I hang two paddles side by side?
If you order two hangers and mount them at the same height, yes — they work perfectly as a pair to display two paddles side by side. Many customers do this for a matching pair of kayak paddles.
Is the leather waterproof?
The genuine distressed leather is naturally water-resistant but not fully waterproof. It’s ideal for indoor wall display. We don’t recommend using it in direct rain or submerged. For outdoor sheds with light exposure, the leather will weather beautifully and develop character.
Can I get a custom size for an oversized oar?
Yes. We make custom sizes for large oars, dragon boat paddles and vintage wooden oars. Message us on Etsy with your shaft diameter and we’ll create the right fit.
How to Mount on Your Wall
Mark two mounting points on the wall at the height where the paddle shaft will rest.
Mount the strap using the pre-punched holes and appropriate wall fixings.
For long paddles, use two leather straps — one near the blade and one near the handle — for a stable display.
Slide the paddle shaft through the strap loop and enjoy the display.
